🔈Spotlight: Susannah M-S
We are excited to recognize one of our new ambassadors Susannah, who is from St. John, New Brunswick. She donated a kidney to her cousin McKenzie in August 2025, travelling from the east coast to the London Health Sciences Centre for the surgery.

As soon as she became aware that her cousin was in need, she did not hesitate to step forward. After the transplant, she spoke about her experience as a donor: "It's a very fulfilling thing to do. It does change you as a person, as well. To be able to give someone an organ that's changed their life, it just makes you kind of appreciate your health and … makes you feel really good." 💬

Today, Susannah is back to her regular routine and fully recovered. She is a talented musician and enjoys her work as a violin teacher.
She looks forward to helping others by sharing her story, particularly those who are considering becoming living donors. 💚
Susannah serves as an ambassador for the LHSC (London Health Sciences Centre).
