Neil is a kidney transplant recipient who received his kidney in April 2024. For Neil this transplant was a step back into life. Neils journey through kidney failure was difficult, both mentally and physically. After Neil spent 30+ years in health and wellness, partnering with NDs, DCs, other practitioners, and MDs in the nutraceutical space, he was used to “protocols” and progress. Neil had accepted that this was beyond his control which was a humbling feeling. The transplant experience made him deeply appreciate the dedication of the hospital teams—the doctors, nurses, social workers, and TAP ambassadors—who worked to make an unbearable path navigable. Neil shares, “Now, on the other side of that journey, I’m committed to giving back and supporting others, so they don’t have to face it alone.”
