Mike is a transplant recipient who received a kidney from his sister in August of 2022. Mike spoke to 3 TAP ambassadors before going on Dialysis, and his conversation with Brahm O positively impacted him.

Mike had a challenging experience throughout his Kidney disease journey with the healthcare system. He shares, “I was determined not only to join TAP but I also wanted to make changes to the current system. I currently volunteer on several teams at 2 hospitals as well as being the Lead Transplant Ambassador for Trillium Health Partners.”

Mike gave up his business to focus on helping Kidney Patients as well as making changes to our Health System with our Transplant 1st Advocacy. Mike shares, “I wear several hats, dealing with a multitude of initiatives but with a TAP vision.”
