“I am very grateful for a second chance at life as the doctors did not think I would live long enough to get one,” shares TAP ambassador Kathleen. Kathleen had a kidney and liver transplant at the University of London Hospital in March of 2023. Kathleen shares her excitement about joining the Transplant Ambassador Program, she says, “I love sharing that I understand the fear, frustration and uncertainty of what the future holds. I feel like I give people hope.” When Kathleen shares how much her life has changed and how much she has accomplished and people share their relief and feelings of hope it makes her happy, this is her favourite part about being an ambassador.
