Spotlight Ambassador: Gilles M
We are honoured to recognize Gilles, one of our Transplant Ambassadors. Gilles lives with Polycystic Kidney Disease, a condition that runs in his family. In 2017, he began Peritoneal Dialysis, and in 2020, he received a kidney from a deceased donor. Since his transplant, things have been excellent! 💚
Being part of the Transplant Ambassador Program (TAP) has been both enjoyable and rewarding for Gilles. Through his interactions, Gilles finds that not only does he help others, but he also helps himself, leaving each conversation feeling like a better person. 💬🌱
Gilles is bilingual in French and English. He supports and connects with individuals across both communities, helping create greater accessibility within the TAP community.
Gilles serves as an ambassador for The Ottawa Hospital.
