Gilles has Polycystic Kidney Disease which runs in his family, in 2017 he started Peritoneal Dialysis and in 2020 he received a kidney from a deceased donor. Things have been excellent ever since the transplant. Being a part of the TAP team has been very enjoyable and rewarding for Gilles. Through his interactions, Gilles finds that not only does he help others, but he also helps himself, and he feels that he comes out of these conversations as a better person.
