Spotlight: Bob R
We are pleased to recognize one of our valued ambassadors, Bob Reid, who is from Toronto, Ontario. Bob donated a kidney to his sister-in-law in 2023, with the transplant performed at St Michael’s Hospital. He describes his surgery and recovery as “optimal.” He wishes to help potential living donors feel comfortable and at ease with the process.

Bob works as a media and communications specialist. He is also a musician who performs in the Taylor Made Band (www.TMband.ca). In 2009, Bob released an independent single (“Highway of Heroes”) featuring Triumph’s Rik Emmett, which later saw him invited to perform for Canadian Forces and NATO partners deployed in Afghanistan.
