I'm a retired Marine and have stayed close with my fellow brothers over the years. I enjoy listening to music. It helps pass the time at dialysis. When I am home I enjoy making traditional Native arts and crafts, specializing in leatherwork. I love animals and enjoy when friends and family bring their fur babies over for a visit.
Having a kidney transplant will change my life for the better in many ways. I will be able to once again do the things I used to take for granted such as taking my family out for weekend breakfasts with all of the kids, do things for myself again such as basic shopping, and be able to fish again which was one of my favourite past times. I will be able to walk again without assistance, spend more time out in nature, and finally be able to dedicate more of my time to practicing traditional native craftwork once again.
