I am a register nurse on a busy hemodialysis unit. I am married to my wonderful husband of 20 years and we have one son who has just left for university. We love to travel and we both work hard in order to travel and view the world as our playground.
I workout and eat healthy but the inevitable outcome is that I will need another transplant in the next couple of years. I spend a lot of my work life chatting with patients about their health condition and try to avoid worrying about mine. If you are considering being a kidney donor, I would love to hear from you.
