This experience has been overwhelming and daunting for me as I am a person who has very few words, from realizing I had to undergo dialysis and now figuring out the next steps to transplant. Things didn't really hit me until my dad died from CKD in 2019, and my brother recently received a kidney through his church. I am keeping hopeful and positive.
I have worked in IT for over 20 years and love the technical challenges and changes that have occurred so fast. The most enjoyable part is working with people from all walks of life and seeing them flourish and grow.
I am the father of 3 lovely girls and continue to try and spend as much time with them as possible, but now in their teen years, trying to get them to laugh at my jokes is a challenge.
I am an energetic IT professional who enjoys life to its fullest. I always try to turn negatives into positives and keep a bright outlook. I love the outdoors, boating, fishing, and spending time with my daughters.
