I have always played sports and went to the gym and worked. Ever since I was diagnosed with kidney disease, I no longer have the opportunity to work or swim or many other activities. I am a very happy positive person and, even though kidney disease is difficult to manage, I am glad that I am alive. I still get to play with my little girl almost every day.
I currently have 5 percent left of my kidney. I have a 6 year old and I am too young to be leaving this early. I have a O blood type which has the longest wait time for people on the deceased donor list (6-8 years). Because of this long wait due to my blood type, I am hoping that someone with angel heart will eventually help me by being my kidney donor.
If have ever considered being a kidney donor to help someone have a second chance at life, please reach out to me.
