Hello Potential Donor,
I am a mother of one and a grandmother two, soon to be three! And I cherish every moment of it knowing my time on earth could be limited.
Over the past 3 years my health has been declining from nerve damage in my arm, vision loss, and now kidney failure. I am still very optimistic that I can still live a very full life.
I currently still work in the field part-time (very limited) in the group homes to help out where I can. I would love to be fully involved in my everyday life tasks.
Like taking my grand-daughters to swimming class again, taking family vacations, and being able to dress in my clothes. I currently have a chest catheter that limits me greatly, but again I am trying to remain in good spirits that GREAT days will come again!
Before I became ill I was a nurse taking care of the elderly in my community, and being a health care worker was my passion for over 20 years.
I am in need of a Kidney ( preferably an O blood type).
