Hi, my name is Vincent.
I have been on hemodialysis since May 13, 2020 and hoping for a transplant. What I missed most since dialysis is travel. My family and I used to travel and I missed it so much. I just watch YouTube videos of Noel Philipps and Ragrazz about travel and airline reviews while on dialysis. I am also a big Toronto Raptors fan.
Dialysis makes it difficult for me to work and this puts much pressure on my wife who is working double time to support me and our 13-year old daughter who has mild autism. I have a brother who is also having his own health issues.
Having a transplant will be a game-changer for me as it will free me from thrice-a-week visit to hospital. I felt that the hospital and its dialysis machine is my prison though the dialysis prolonged my life.
I am hoping I can have a kidney transplant soon so I can live my life again especially for my daughter. I have to live long enough to see her finish schooling and be independent.
