THE BEST IS YET TO COME.
I am a 61 year young woman with a love for life and more than anything a love for my family and friends that I have made over the years.

I decided to return to school at the age of 51 to study Social Service Work Gerontology so that I can be of service to seniors. During my studies I was involved in a head-on vehicle accident. I thought for sure my time was up but somehow I was spared. I've always had a strong spirit and a strong faith and I believe I still have a purpose on this earth. I graduated with honours and was able to work for a year at a seniors home.

My health at the time was getting worse to the point of my having to leave work. I was diagnosed with two rare autoimmune diseases, Scleroderma and Vasculitis which led to four kidney disease. I have been doing peritoneal dialysis at home for the past two years. It hasn't been easy but I wake up every morning with gratitude for another day. I was recently approached by my doctor to look for a living kidney donor.

Knowing that I could have a longer chance at living out my dreams and being able to check off more on my bucket list excites me. I'm a believer that everything happens for a reason and this is the right time for me to look for me Christmas angel, I can feel it.

I have a great circle of loving support and a strong faith that will keep me strong, all I need now is a living donor. Might you be my Christmas Angel?
Happy Holidays to everyone, may love be your light.
