Gary is a kidney and pancreas transplant recipient; his surgery took place in March of 2024 at Toronto General Hospital. His favourite thing about being a transplant ambassador is hearing the inspiring stories of others. Gary’s first volunteer call took place on his one-year transplant anniversary, talking to a gentleman close in age to him and being able to provide guidance was very meaningful for him.
